The Beginnings of Something New

Hello all! Welcome to my photography blog!

©Courtney Baum Photography
A little bit about myself: My name is Daniele Miller and I am currently attending Nossi College of Art in Nashville, TN to earn my degree in Commercial Digital Photography.

I fell in love with photography years ago.  I would get so captivated by an image that it would stop me dead in my tracks.  The simplistic beauty, the moving stories, and the intricate details that one single image can hold has always fascinated me.  I soon found myself yearning to create photographs that captivated people's hearts the way it did mine.  Once I got my first camera, I took pictures of everything, such as everyday objects that people would ordinarily over look and I found a way to make them look unique and stand out.  After that, pursuing my dream of photography was a hands down decision.  No second guesses.  No looking back.

Now that I am a little bit older, I realize that not everyone knows in their heart what they want to do with the rest of their lives, or has the opportunity to pursue their aspirations.  I am extremely grateful for the opportunities that have come my way and hope for many more to come; I look forward to sharing them with each of you!

Down to the nitty-gritty: Now, all introductions aside, lets get down to what this blog is all about!  Don't worry, not all of my posts will be this lengthy in words (for those of you who despise reading).  After all, I am a photographer, not a writer.

First and foremost, this will be a place to display and share my varieties of work and the adventures that got me there.  So far, I have not limited myself to any particular area of photography.  I have experience photographing children, families, couples, fashion, product, and nature, and I am more than willing to try my hand in other areas.

Feel free to comment and share with fellow bloggers; feedback is always welcome!!  Please remember that each image is copyrighted by Sheila D. Photography and they are not to be used for any other purpose without my signed permission.

Secondly, due to the fact that I am always looking up photography resources and information (whether it be aimed toward photographers, clientele, or just those interested in all forms of photography), I hope to be able to share any interesting information I may possibly find.

On a final note, I am brand spankin' new to this whole "blog thing" and can't wait to get things rolling! That being said, tips and suggestions are welcomed with open arms!! I look forward to the many exciting things to come as I venture out into the blogging world!

Here is some of my recent work! Enjoy!!

Beauty is everywhere. You just have to stop and look for it.
